Taco Chicken Chili
I've made this twice in the last month. It tastes soooo good. I am not a chili lover but there's really nothing chili about it much. Follow these steps:
Servings: 10
Ingredients:
- 1- Bunch of green onion
- 1- Bunch of Cilantro
- 2- 16 oz can kidney beans (drained)
- 1- 8 oz tomato pasta sauce
- 1- 10- 15 oz can of corn(drained)
- 1- Packet of chicken taco seasoning
- 2- 14.5 oz of diced tomatoes with chilies
- 1- Tbsp cumin
- 1-Tbsp of chili powder
- About 3 boneless skinless chicken breast.
Steps:
- Cut the green onion and cilantro and place in the crock pot, set on low.
- Add the corn, beans, chilies, tomato sauce, chicken seasoning, cumin, and chili powder.
- Stir to combine all the flavors.
- Place the chicken on top of ingredients. Three hours on medium or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. You can take out and shred then place back in.
- Give chili another two hours or until tender to your taste buds. To get the job done quicker. I shredded the chicken and cooked it on a pan. Then dumped the chicken with it's juices into the crock pot for three hours on medium-high.
- I bought Frito Scoops too and so yummy with cheese melted on top. Enjoy!
